THE BOTHY

Part of our hamlet of cottages at Reedsford, The Bothy can be rented on it’s own or along with The Barn or The Byre, and for even larger parties there is Housedon Haugh on the river. At the end of an access only lane, this spacious family friendly cottage will not disappoint. Incredible views and peaceful surroundings encourage relaxation on arrival. A short walk to the river and unparallelled views of the Bowmont Valley – the Bothy has all you need for an exclusive getaway.

Large family kitchen and wood burning stove, oak table easily seating eight, as well as our trademark Wild Plum interiors throughout. Cheerful stripes and ginghams, polished wooden floors and super comfortable beds complete the appeal of this family friendly home.

Sleeping four, but with the option of a truckle bed for two extra children, this is the perfect place for that family holiday to remember with pets welcome to join the fun.

In the neighbouring granary you’ll find an indoor games room with space for larger group dining, table tennis, pool and table football. This special retreat is loved by all our visitors including those with horses who make use of the adjoining paddock!

“GREAT PLACE FOR KIDS, DOGS AND ADULTS. TRIED TO MAKE AN EFFORT TO LEAVE THE COTTAGE IN THE MORNINGS AND GO SIGHT SEEING BUT COULD HAVE JUST STAYED IN AND ENJOYED THE VIEWS, THE GAMES, THE SHEEP AND THE HILLS. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT HAMPER AND MAKING SURE THE COTTAGE IS WELL STOCKED. THANK YOU FOR THINKING OF EVERYTHING!!!”
